Rigoletto is a jester in the court of the Duke of Mantua. He has a hunch-back and he's rather unattractive, but he's good at his job of humiliating the courtiers for the amusement of the Duke. The courtiers, of course, are not amused. The Duke is a ladies man who feels his life would be meaningless if he couldn't chase every skirt he sees. In fact, we learn as the opera begins that he's recently been noticing a young lady every Sunday on her way to church, and he's vowed to have his way with her. What nobody realizes is that the girl is the jester's beloved daughter, Gilda, and that Gilda has seen the Duke every Sunday and is smitten with him. Suddenly Count Monterone appears at court, furious that the Duke has seduced his daughter. Rigoletto ridicules Monterone, the Duke laughs, and Monterone casts an awful curse on both of them. Later, the courtiers discover that Rigoletto is secretly living with Gilda...

The documentary depicts the decay of one of Mexico's most prosperous macroeconomic situations (the era called "The Mexican Miracle") and the government's responsibility on this matter after increasing world interest rates, decreasing oil prices, rising inflation, a deteriorating balance of payments and a chronically overvalued national currency (Mexican peso), that spurred massive capital flight and a lack of international reserves. These events culminated in three devaluations of the peso in 1982 and the famous nationalization of Mexico's private banking system under the presidency of José López Portillo. -Edgar Cochran-

Brian Wilson: Songwriter 1962-1969 is undoubtedly the most comprehensive portrait of Brian Wilson’s work as a songwriter and producer ever released. I specifically mention the whole ‘as a songwriter and producer’ part because, thankfully, the commentators and experts interviewed don’t attempt to explain the sensational mental problems with which this dean of American pop music famously suffered after producing some of the most iconic/influential pieces in modern music.
In the beginning of the movie you see a woman getting raped by a man-creature of some sort. The movie takes place years later when the child that was a result of that rape is on the rampage looking for a girl to rape to start the process all over again.
R&B legend Rick James was one of the most influential black musicians of all time. As an artist, songwriter and producer, James provided the funky hits that resuscitated Motown Records in the late ‘70s. His Punk Funk sound updated the label’s style and saw it through the mid-’80s. By 1981, Rick was at the peak of his commercial success with the platinum selling Street Songs album and the hit singles "Super Freak" and "Give It to Me Baby." The following year, Rick James & the Stone City Band took the stage in Essen, Germany to open the 10th Rockpalast-Festival. This 1982 performance was the first time James played in Europe, bringing his brand of American Punk Funk to a whole new audience. Together with the Stone City Band, James did not disappoint, burning up the stage with his trademark sound and special effects.
