Romanzo Criminale – La serie - is a television series Italian based on the eponymous novel by judge Giancarlo De Cataldo, and it is the second adaptation of the film Romanzo Criminale directed by Michele Placido. The first series quickly achieved cult status in Italy. This is the second fiction series after Quo Vadis, Baby? that was produced by Sky and broadcast on Fox Crime, Sky One and on Sky Arts with English subtitles in 2012. The series is set in about 1977-89 and follows a criminal gang in Rome that has a near monopoly of the city's heroin trade. Most of the characters use the Romanesco dialect. The gang is led by three old friends, Libanese, Freddo and Dandi. As well as its internal feuding, the gang has to deal with the Camorra and Sicilian Mafia that both supply its heroin, the police led by Commissioner Scialoja and the Italian secret services. The plotline is based on the Banda della Magliana of the 1970s-90s.

Treasures of Ancient Rome is a 2012 three-part documentary written and presented by Alastair Sooke. The series was produced by the BBC, and originally aired in September 2012 on BBC Four. In the documentary Sooke sets out to "debunk the myth that Romans didn't do art and were unoriginal". This is based on the view that Romans heavily incorporated Greek style in their art, and hence produced nothing new or original. Sooke has received some criticism from the media owing to the fact that there is no consensus among academics on this topic, and hence no 'myth' exists in the first place.

Vocea României is a Romanian reality talent show that started in September 2011. It is part of the international syndication The Voice based on the reality singing competition launched in the Netherlands as The Voice of Holland, created by Dutch television producer John de Mol. The judging panel is Smiley, Horia Brenciu, Loredana Groza and Marius Moga with Pavel Bartoș presenter, Roxana Ionescu as Co-presenters and Vlad Roșca in backstage. In second season Roxana Ionescu was replaced with singer and actress Nicoleta Luciu. One of the important premises of the show is the quality of the singing talent. Four coaches, themselves popular performing artists, train the talents in their group and occasionally perform with them. Talents are selected in blind auditions, where the coaches cannot see, but only hear the auditioner.

Romans is a documentary created by Tony Robinson about the Roman Empire. It was first broadcast on Channel 4 on September 20, 2003. This documentary is 3 hours in length, consists of 4 episodes and makes extensive use of research. The first two episodes portrays the life of the Dictator Julius Caesar while the remaining are portraits of Emperor Caligula and Emperor Nero. Tony Robinson is portraying Caligula in a different perspective, than what is normally associated with a the "mad emperor", by using various sources that examines his childhood in order to portray him in a better light. The last episode portrays emperor Nero.

Romany Jones 1972

Romany Jones is a British sitcom made by LWT, It starred Arthur Mullard and Queenie Watts as Wally and Lily Briggs and was broadcast between 1973 and 1975, The show was originally designed as a vehicle for James Beck, involving the comic misadventures of two layabout families living on a caravan site. Following the death of Beck in August 1973, aged just 44, Bert and Betty Jones were written out of the series, and Jonathan Cecil and Gay Soper took over the lead roles, playing new neighbours, Jeremy and Susan Crichton-Jones. The show had a pilot broadcast in 1972 and was followed by a spin off sequel in 1976 entitled Yus, My Dear, starring Mullard and Watts.
